うちのちび太は気づくと昼寝、夜の寝場所を定期的に変えています。このベッドは多分犬用なのですが、サイズの大きいちび太にはちょうど良いだろうと数年前に買ったもの。ここ半年くらいはこのベッドで寝ることはなかったのですが、寒くなってきたからか、気が付いたら寝てました。なんとも幸せそうです。

愛用しているXTiがメンテのため手元にないため、フィルムカメラで撮影。使い勝手が良いだろうとISO400のフィルムを使っていたけれど、実際に印刷してもらったらノイズがすごいのに驚いた。ちょっとショック。まぁ、安いフィルムだったし、それがいけないんだろうかなぁ。次回は（と言っても６本で＄１０で買ってるからまだこのフィルムが残ってるんだけど）ISO100か２００でいこうっと。それにしてもデジタルに慣れてしまっているから、シャッターを押した後に画面を探してしまう自分が情けない。。。

掃除が終わったパティオ。天気が良かったので我が愛猫ちび太を外に出してみた。どの猫もそうなのかも知れないけれど、うちのちび太は日向ぼっこが大好き。機会があれば外に出して欲しい猫です。昨年の夏以来の外の空気。犬じゃないのにくんくんと色んなものを嗅いでいます。さぁ、いったい何処に寝転がるのだろうと思っていたら、、、グリルの横の日陰でした。

この週末のシアトルはめちゃくちゃ暑かった。春を通り越して一気に夏（といっても２～３日だけ）。３０度を越すような天気で、近所の子供たち（うるさかったからガキ共）は水遊びに明け暮れ、ボートを持つ人々は待ってましたとのごとくに湖に繰り出してました。こんな天気は僕の愛猫ちび太には暑すぎるようで、こんな感じで週末は殆ど寝てました。出来るだけ涼しい風を得ようと試みているのか猫とは思えないほどストレッチしてファンの下で寝てました。下の写真とか猫なのにちょっとだけウサギっぽいし。

猫はマイペースな生き物。自由気ままに寝たい時に寝たい所で寝る生き物。。。僕の書斎にはL字型の机があるのですが、コンピュータで作業をしている途中で気づいたら、ちび太が横で寝ているじゃぁないですか。いやぁ、何とも言えず笑ってしまいました。
Cats behave as they please. They sleep wherever they want and whenever they want. I found my beloved cat Chibita sleeping right next to me on my L-shaped desk while I was working on my computer. It was another peaceful moment that brought a smile on my face.

今朝は大粒の雪が降ることから始まり、晴れたと思えば、雨、雹、霙と本当に変な天気。ただ寒いことは確か。そんな寒い日は日本だったらコタツの上に猫が寝るのかもしれませんが、我が家のちび太は毛布の上をしっかりと陣取ってほぼ一日過ごしています。

曇り空の週末に眠そうな顔をしていたちび太。上の写真で右手で顔を支えているのも可愛いですが、下の写真で顔を覆っているのが好きですね。

僕の愛する猫、チビ太。もう14年ほど一緒です。人見知りすることなく、誰が遊びに来ても平気でその人の膝の上で寝るような、滅茶苦茶マイペースな奴です。歳のせいか、ここ数年は午前3～4時にはみゃ～みゃ～鳴き出し、僕を起こしてくれるのですが、そんなのも含めて可愛い奴です。
