もうしばらく前のことになってしまったが、大学院時代からの友人林夫妻から長男の出産祝いにアルバムをいただいた。写真を撮ることが好きな僕にとってはうれしいことですが、このアルバムには表紙にフットプリントを入れる枠があるのとともに、息子の名前、誕生日、そしてその時間までもがモノグラムで入っているのが気に入っています。実は僕は自分が生まれた時間を知らないので（親も覚えていないよう）、こうやって残せることがうれしいです。
It has been a while ago, but my wife and I received a photo album from my friends since grad school days. What I like about this photo album other than the fact it holds the photos I take is that it has an opening for a footprint and has the name, date, and time of my son’s birth monogramed on the cover. It is a great gift we cherish and use to organize our memories with our son.
